Step 1: Two Balls

“Wimpy” refers to when you juggle an even number of balls, throwing two balls at the same time such that they cross mid-air and go into the opposite hands. (I also wish that it had a different name.)

Obviously, if you threw both balls at the same height, then they would collide. So, one hand will always throw slightly higher than the other one. Personally, my left hand always throws higher (I’m right-handed). Take two balls and practice this crossing throw until it feels solid (Image 1-3). It doesn’t matter which hand throws higher. Do whatever feels most comfortable. Both hands will be using a Lift Bounce throw. Once you’re ready, move on to step 2.

Step 2: Four Balls

Four balls is literally doing the same two-ball cross from Step 1 over and over again (Image 4 - 7). The main problem that you’ll run into is collisions. Practice 2 balls by themselves if necessary. You got this!
